PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) is an advanced technology that bonds a layer of 18K gold to 925 silver at a molecular level, through a high-resistance process carried out in a vacuum. It is the same treatment used for high-end watches and surgical instruments, chosen precisely for its endurance: the result is a finish that is particularly resistant to water, perspiration and everyday wear, longer-lasting than traditional galvanic plating, with a warm, even colour that stays true over time. Completing the plating, a veil of e-coating — a transparent protective layer applied electrochemically — wraps the jewel and increases its resistance to scratches, perspiration and the small gestures of every day.

9K gold is a precious gold alloy: 375 thousandths of pure gold united with other metals that enhance its warm colour and strength.
